1. Overview
This Trade Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing the financial transactions and fee structures associated with the cryptocurrency recovery services provided by Digital Globe. This policy ensures transparency in all financial dealings between Digital Globe and its clients.
2. Service Fee Structure
2.1 Free Consultation
Digital Globe offers a free initial case assessment and consultation. During this phase, our team evaluates the viability of your case and provides an honest assessment of recovery prospects at no cost.
2.2 Success-Based Fees
Our primary fee model is success-based, meaning fees are charged only upon successful recovery of assets. The fee percentage is determined by:
- The complexity of the case
- The total value of assets to be recovered
- The jurisdictions involved
- The estimated time and resources required
2.3 Retainer Fees
In certain complex cases that require extensive legal proceedings, court filings, or international coordination, a retainer fee may be required. Any retainer fees will be:
- Clearly communicated and agreed upon before work begins
- Documented in a formal service agreement
- Applied toward the total recovery fee upon successful recovery
3. Payment Terms
- All fees are due within 14 days of invoicing unless otherwise agreed in writing
- Payments may be made via bank transfer, cryptocurrency, or other agreed-upon methods
- All amounts are stated exclusive of applicable taxes, which are the responsibility of the client
- Late payments may incur interest charges as outlined in your service agreement
4. Refund Policy
Given the nature of cryptocurrency recovery services:
- Success-based fees are non-refundable as they are only charged upon successful recovery
- Retainer fees may be partially refundable if the case is terminated before significant work is performed, subject to deduction of costs already incurred
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing within 30 days of payment
- Each refund request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis
5. Recovered Assets Handling
When assets are successfully recovered:
- The client will be notified promptly of the recovery
- Our agreed-upon fee will be deducted from the recovered amount
- Remaining funds will be transferred to the client’s designated wallet or bank account
- Transfer fees and network costs are borne by the client
- All transfers will be documented with proper receipts and confirmations
6. Currency and Valuation
- Recovery values are calculated based on the market price at the time of recovery, unless otherwise agreed
- Fee calculations for cryptocurrency are based on the spot price at the time of the fee settlement
- Currency conversion rates for fiat currencies are based on prevailing market rates at the time of transaction
- Clients may request recovered assets in the original cryptocurrency or in fiat currency, subject to availability
7. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute regarding fees, payments, or recovered amounts:
- Both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation
- If negotiation fails, the dispute will be submitted to mediation
- If mediation is unsuccessful, the dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the applicable jurisdiction
8. Anti-Money Laundering (AML)
Digital Globe adheres to strict anti-money laundering policies. We reserve the right to:
- Request identity verification (KYC) before processing any payments or disbursements
- Report suspicious activities to relevant authorities
- Decline or suspend services if AML concerns arise
- Withhold recovered funds pending satisfactory completion of compliance checks
9. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to update this Trade Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Existing service agreements will be governed by the Trade Policy in effect at the time of agreement execution.
